DREAM ON
Every object carries within it a memory, and the ones we remember most fondly are linked to our childhood. A color, a shape, a smell, the atmosphere in which they transport you when you see them again is a bit like reliving those nuanced moments. The object I remember most fondly is the first piggy bank. It was my pass to build little dreams, other objects that carry other memories. With the “treasures” I was able to accumulate, I bought my first bike that I saw displayed beautiful and shiny every morning in that window on my way to school. My first guitar that I strummed and my brother yelled at me to stop. My first 45 that I think I wore out from how much I listened to it.
Piggy bank lights up dreams.
